A new champion cut down the nets on Monday night in the 2022 NCAA Tournament at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, as No. 1 seed Kansas completed a historic comeback to best No. 8 seed North Carolina 72-69. The championship game of tradition-rich programs delivered in a big way, with the Jayhawks erasing a 15-point halftime deficit.
This year's March Madness event was full of surprises and upsets. Saint Peter's was the Cinderella of the Big Dance, making it all the way to the Elite Eight. But in the end, the top-seeded Jayhawks showed that blue bloods still dominate the sport.
