  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Generates quality start

Rodon (4-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Minnesota, allowing one run on six hits and no walks during six innings. He struck out six.

Rodon turned in his fourth quality start of his last five appearances and didn't issue a walk for a third straight start. The lone run charged against him came via a Ryan Jeffers homer in the bottom of the first. After posting a 6.85 ERA in his first season in New York, Rodon has bounced back with a 3.31 ERA through nine starts and is tied for the team lead in wins. Rodon is scheduled to close out a two-start week Sunday against the White Sox -- the team he played his first seven seasons with.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Secures third victory

Rodon (3-2) earned the win over Houston on Wednesday, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings.

Rodon gave up six earned runs over four frames versus the Orioles in his worst start of the campaign his last time out, but he bounced back with a strong showing Wednesday. The left-hander racked up 16 swinging strikes against the Astros, leading to his second-highest single-game strikeout total of the season. While Rodon's season ERA sits at a mediocre 3.56, that's largely due to the blowup outing against Baltimore. He has posted a 2.54 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 37:14 K:BB over 39 innings across his other seven starts.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Struggles in Baltimore

Rodon (2-2) took the loss Thursday against the Orioles, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits over four innings. He struck out six.

After shutting out Baltimore through the first two innings, Rodon allowed three solo home runs between the third and fourth innings before the O's put up a four spot in the fifth, forcing the Yankees to turn to the bullpen. It's a deflating effort from Rodon, who'd allowed just one run over 13 innings in his previous two starts. His ERA is up to 3.68 on the season with a 1.28 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB in seven starts. Rodon will look to bounce back in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against the Astros.

  • Yankees' Carlos Rodon: Allows just one run in win

Rodon (2-1) earned the win Saturday against the Brewers after he struck out eight and allowed one run on two hits and a walk over six innings.

The left-hander delivered seven scoreless frames in his previous start and followed up with a season-high eight strikeouts in Milwaukee on Saturday, with the lone blemish against him being a solo homer from Rhys Hoskins in the opening frame. Rodon surrendered 15 long balls in 14 starts last season but has a 0.8 HR/9 through six outings in 2024. It's been an encouraging start to the campaign with a 2.48 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB across 32.2 innings.
