Palacios was the lone offensive bright spot for the Rays on Wednesday, and he now has three multi-hit efforts in his last five starts. He also stole his third base in that span Wednesday, bringing his total to four on the season. Palacios has a large-side platoon role in right field and has maintained an impressive 163 wRC+ and .395 wOBA across 87 plate appearances on the campaign.
Eflin (1-4) took the loss Wednesday against the Brewers, allowing three runs on six hits over 5.2 innings. He struck out six.
Eflin allowed a two-run double to William Contreras in the third inning before allowing a solo homer to Willy Adames in the sixth. The 30-year-old Eflin has now been stuck with a loss in consecutive starts -- he's allowed seven earned runs over 11.2 innings in that span. Eflin's ERA is now up to 4.17 with a 1.17 WHIP and 36:4 K:BB in seven starts this year. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against the White Sox.

Rays' Jose Siri: Begins serving suspension Wednesday

Siri (thigh) had his three-game suspension reduced to two games following an appeal and began serving the ban in Wednesday's 7-1 loss to the Brewers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Siri was handed the suspension as a result of his role in Tuesday's bench-clearing brawl with the Brewers. He ended up being held out of the lineup Wednesday with a sore left thigh, and that game will count toward his time served for the suspension. He'll serve the final game of his suspension Friday against the Mets, but he should be ready to play Saturday, assuming the thigh issue isn't still presenting complications for him.

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Nursing minor injury

Siri (thigh) received a three-game suspension Wednesday for his role in a benches-clearing brawl Tuesday in the Rays' 8-2 loss to the Brewers, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports. He will appeal the suspension and is available off the bench for Wednesday's series finale in Milwaukee.
In addition to Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy receiving a two-game ban, three players - Siri and Brewers right-handers Abner Uribe (six games) and Freddy Peralta (five games) - were suspended for their roles in Tuesday's brawl. Uribe's punishment is the most severe since he's considered to have incited the incident in the eighth inning, when he threw a punch at Siri after the two players first started arguing when Siri was running to first base on a groundout. In his prior plate appearance in the sixth inning, Siri was hit by a pitch in the left thigh, and he'll be held out of the lineup Wednesday after Rays manager Kevin Cash said the outfielder was still dealing with some soreness. After a team off day Thursday, Siri should be ready to go for this weekend's series with the Mets, if he hasn't dropped his appeal by then or if the appeal process hasn't been completed.

Lowe, who opened the season on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain, was expected to be activated last weekend, but his return to the 26-man active roster was delayed after he experienced right hamstring tightness in a rehab game at Durham. However, the feeling is that Lowe experienced only a minor setback, and he's since been cleared to return to game action. Lowe will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis at Durham to determine when he can return from the IL to make his season debut for the big club.

Baz has thrown in two extended spring training games, the most recent of which came Monday. The next step in his recovery will come at Triple-A Durham to build up his pitch count. There is no specific timeline for Baz to return, but it's possible that he'll be back in late May.
Adam allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Monday. He struck out two and earned a save over the Brewers.
Adam also hit a batter and faced a bases-loaded situation with two outs but still narrowly finished off the 1-0 win. It was his first save of the year after blowing his only other chance April 5 against the Rockies. Adam now owns a 1.29 ERA with a 12:4 K:BB and seven holds through 14 innings.
