Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Option exercised
The Vikings exercised Darrisaw's 2025 fifth-year option.
The 24-year-old was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and has started 39 of 41 games he's appeared in since entering the league. Darrisaw has yet to make a Pro Bowl or be named an All-Pro, but he's an above-average, rock-solid left tackle and will either protect Sam Darnold or rookie J.J. McCarthy's blind side this upcoming season.

Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Practices in full
Darrisaw (groin) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The third-year tackle out of Virginia Tech was able to log a full practice Friday after recording limited sessions both Wednesday and Thursday, and it now seems as if he's had enough time to move past his groin issue. Darrisaw is in line to return as Minnesota's left tackle this Sunday.
