Oettinger let a couple of one-goal leads slip away, and the Avalanche rallied ahead for good in the third period. This loss snapped his three-game winning streak, but the Stars are still ahead 3-2 in the series. Oettinger has won four of his five road games this postseason, allowing a total of seven goals in those contests, so he remains a strong option heading into Game 6 on Friday in Colorado.

Stars' Jake Oettinger: Slated to start Wednesday
Oettinger is set to guard the home goal in Wednesday's Game 5 against the Avalanche, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Oettinger is aiming for his fourth consecutive victory after stopping 80 of 85 shots (.941 save percentage) across his previous three wins over Colorado. The netminder has a 7-4 record, 2.02 GAA and .923 save percentage in 11 playoff appearances this year. While Oettinger has been great, the Avalanche have a potent offense, so it wouldn't be surprising if they prove to be quite the challenge for the 25-year-old goaltender as Colorado fights to avoid elimination.

Oettinger has won three starts in a row after dropping the first game in the second round. He limited the damage to a Casey Mittelstadt tally in the second period of Monday's tilt. Through 11 postseason contests, Oettinger is 7-4 with a 2.02 GAA and a .923 save percentage.
