McDavid helped out on the first of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' tallies in the contest. The 27-year-old McDavid is up to two goals and six assists over five games in the Western Conference Finals as he continues to lead by example on offense. He's picked up four goals, 25 helpers, 12 power-play points, 53 shots on net, 36 hits and a plus-7 rating through 17 playoff appearances.

This was Bouchard's first multi-point game in the Western Conference Finals, and it's likely no coincidence that it happened alongside the Oilers' power play coming back to life. The defenseman is up to 25 points (10 on the power play) through 17 playoff contests. He's added 53 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating while seeing a large role on the top pairing.

Broberg's first career playoff goal stretched the Oilers' lead to 3-0 in the second period. The defenseman has played in each of the last two games, replacing Vincent Desharnais in a third-pairing role. With limited minutes, Broberg is unlikely to be a steady source of offense, and he also lacks the physicality that kept Desharnais in the lineup for so long.

The pair of goals were the first power-play tallies for either team in the Western Conference Finals. A lack of power-play production for the Oilers will typically hurt Nugent-Hopkins more than other players -- he's earned nine of his 20 points this postseason with the man advantage, including four of his six goals. Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Between pipes in Game 5
Skinner will defend the road crease in Dallas for Game 5 on Friday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Skinner gave up a pair of early goals in Game 4 and then shut the door, stopping 20 shots as the Oilers evened the series at 2-2 with a 5-2 win Wednesday. Skinner has a 2.34 GAA and a .900 save percentage in four games against Dallas in the playoffs.

Oilers' Corey Perry: Gets first point of playoffs
Perry posted an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Stars in Game 4.
Perry fell out of favor for the Oilers late in the second round -- his appearance Wednesday ended a stretch of five straight healthy scratches for the veteran winger. He was also able to snap a 12-game point drought when he helped out on a Ryan McLeod tally in the first period. The 39-year-old Perry's best years are well behind him at this point, but he can still be an effective depth forward and pest. Given the Oilers' win in Game 4 to even the Western Conference Finals at two games apiece, it wouldn't be surprising to see Perry get a run in the lineup over the rest of the series.

Nurse has been the target of some ire for his poor play in the playoffs, and he got off to an ugly start in this game. Nurse was able to rebound, picking up a helper on a Ryan McLeod goal, and he followed up with a huge physical performance for the rest of the game. Nurse has just three assists with an ugly minus-12 rating through 16 playoff contests, but he's added 35 hits, 37 blocked shots and 31 shots on net while playing in a top-four role. That non-scoring production still gives him a path to relevance in DFS formats.

Nugent-Hopkins posted an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Stars in Game 4.
Nugent-Hopkins had been held off the scoresheet over the previous two contests, his first multi-game dry spell since April 12-13. The 31-year-old broke out of the short slump by helping out on Evan Bouchard's first-period equalizer. Nugent-Hopkins is up to four goals, 14 assists, 21 shots on net, 28 hits and a plus-3 rating as a playmaker in a top-six role.
