  • Browns' Grant Delpit: Recovered from injury

Delpit (groin) participated in OTAs on Wednesday.

  • Browns' Deshaun Watson: Continues to progress

Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday that Watson is throwing every other day as the quarterback continues his rehab from a season-ending shoulder injury, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Per Oyefusi, Watson threw passes during Tuesday's session but didn't do so Wednesday, though he did participate in individual and team drills. In regard to how Watson has looked during OTAs, Stefanski noted that the quarterback "looked like himself." Watson underwent surgery last November to repair a displaced fracture to the glenoid in his right shoulder, so the Browns are proceeding deliberately with their top signal-caller in anticipation of him being ready for Week 1. With Watson not throwing Wednesday, Jameis Winston and Tyler Huntley took the bulk of the reps in team drills.

  • Browns' Michael Woods: Participating in OTAs

Woods (Achilles) took part in Wednesday's OTA session, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Woods, who had his six-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy lifted in January, appears to have bulked up since last season. Additionally, the 2022 sixth-round pick appears to have moved past an Achilles injury that he sustained last April, costing him the entire 2023 season. Now that Woods is back on the field, he'll have an opportunity to compete for a depth role in a Cleveland wideout corps that's led by Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman.
