Michael Kopech CHW RP
White Sox's Michael Kopech: Takes fifth loss
2m agoKopech (1-5) allowed one run (none earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out two to take the loss Saturday against the Brewers.
Kopech entered the game in the 10th inning with the game tied at three. He intentionally walked the first batter he faced to put a pair of runners on base before throwing a wild pitch and allowing an infield single to take the loss. Kopech has had an inconsistent season, though he did turn in scoreless efforts in eight of his nine appearances in May. The White Sox haven't converted a save since May 15, but he should be considered the team's primary closer for the time being.
-
Yordan Alvarez HOU LF
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Belts two homers in victory
4m agoAlvarez went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a walk and three total RBI in a 5-2 win against Minnesota on Saturday.
Alvarez kicked off the scoring for Houston with a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fifth. The pair of long balls matched his total over his previous 30 games combined. Alvarez has hit safely in 13 of his past 14 games and is batting .377 (20-for-53) during that stretch, though he had only two RBI during that span before Saturday.
-
Danny Mendick CHW 3B
White Sox's Danny Mendick: Should have regular role
12m agoMendick went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Saturday against the Brewers.
Mendick is expected to have a regular role in the White Sox's lineup after Bryan Ramos was sent to Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday. However, Mendick started at second base Saturday and notched his sixth multi-hit appearance of the season as well as his second stolen base. He is unlikely to hit for much average thanks to a 29.3 percent strikeout rate, though he could be an okay source of homers and steals in deeper formats so long as he keeps consistent playing time.
-
Joe Ryan MIN SP
Twins' Joe Ryan: Struggles against Astros
14m agoRyan (4-4) took the loss against Houston on Saturday, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings.
Ryan was stung by the long ball in the loss, giving up a season-high four homers. He has allowed at least that many home runs in a start four times in his career, though he came into Saturday on pace for a career-best 0.9 HR/9. Ryan saw his season ERA jump from 2.96 to 3.38 as a result of the poor start, but that mark is still on pace for the best of his career.
-
Amed Rosario TB RF
Rays' Amed Rosario: Inconsistent playing time
21m agoRosario went 1-for-1 as a pinch hitter in Saturday's game against the Orioles.
Rosario entered the game in the ninth inning after hitting the bench for the second time in the last four games. Since Jonathan Aranda and Brandon Lowe have returned from the injured list, Rosario has been in the lineup only seven times across 15 contests.
-
Josh Hader HOU RP
Astros' Josh Hader: Earns eighth save
22m agoHader picked up a save against the Twins on Saturday, striking out one batter over a scoreless inning.
It was a relatively easy save chance for Hader, as he entered with a three-run lead. The southpaw had worked in a non-save situation in each of his previous three appearances, though he's clearly still in control of Houston's closer role. Hader has had a few rough outings this season but is 8-for-9 in save chances and has allowed just three earned runs and struck out 33 batters over his past 19.1 innings.
-
Logan O'Hoppe LAA C
Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Sitting Saturday
10h agoO'Hoppe is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Mariners, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
O'Hoppe will get a breather after he went 2-for-15 with two solo home runs and three runs scored while starting the last four contests. Matt Thaiss will draw the start at catcher and bat sixth against Seattle.
-
Luis Campusano SD C
Padres' Luis Campusano: Resting Saturday
10h agoCampusano isn't in the Padres' lineup Saturday versus Kansas City.
Campusano is still ice cold at the plate and is now 0-for-19 across his last seven games. He'll give way to Kyle Higashioka on Saturday and may continue to lose playing time if his offensive struggles continue.
-
Keibert Ruiz WAS C
Nationals' Keibert Ruiz: Not starting Saturday
10h agoRuiz isn't in the Nationals' lineup Saturday against the Guardians.
After going 0-for-4 with a strikeout during Friday's series opener, Ruiz will take a seat Saturday against Ben Lively and the Guardians. Riley Adams will fill in behind the dish and bat eighth.
-
Bo Naylor CLE C
Guardians' Bo Naylor: Another day off versus left-hander

Blue Jays' Danny Jansen: Sitting Saturday
11h agoJansen will sit Saturday versus the Pirates.
Jansen will take a seat after he went 0-for-4 with two walks, a run scored and two strikeouts in Friday's 5-3 win. Alejandro Kirk will draw the start behind the plate and bat eighth against Pittsburgh.
-
Jonah Heim TEX C
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Day off Saturday
11h agoHeim is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Marlins.
Heim will take a seat after he went 3-for-22 with a double, two RBI and a run scored while starting the team's last six contests. Andrew Knizner will take over behind the plate and bat ninth against Miami.
-
Christian Walker ARI 1B
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Grand slam in win
2h agoWalker went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a 10-5 win over the Mets on Saturday.
With the bases loaded and two outs in the third inning, Walker hit a grand slam off Sean Manaea to open the scoring. It was Walker's second night in a row with a homer, and he has now reached base in 10 straight games dating back to May 21. That stretch has included four home runs and eight RBI, and Walker is now up to 12 home runs and 38 RBI on the season.
-
Vinnie Pasquantino KC 1B
Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Clubs homer in loss
2h agoPasquantino went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and a double in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Padres.
Pasquantino twice gave the Royals a lead, first with a first-inning homer and then with an RBI single in the third, but that was the extent of the team's run production. The first baseman is heating up with three straight multi-hit efforts. He's gone 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and six RBI in that span after batting just .148 over a 16-game stretch with no multi-hit performances. For the season, Pasquantino is slashing .242/.317/.434 with seven homers, 39 RBI, 27 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases through 56 contests.
-

Mets' Pete Alonso: Two-run homer in loss
2h agoAlonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 10-5 loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
Alonso doubled in the first then hit a two-run home run in the ninth off Brandon Hughes. While the game was out of reach, the homer was Alonso's 13th of the year and resulted in his third multi-hit effort in his past nine games. On the season, Alonso is now slashing .239/.315/.477 with 13 home runs and 29 RBI.
-
Bryce Harper PHI 1B
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Launches 14th homer
2h agoHarper went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.
Harper provided the Phillies with extra breathing room, taking St. Louis reliever John King deep in the seventh inning. Over the previous 10 games, Harper took a small step back, batting .257 (9-for-35) with three home runs and seven RBI to close out May. Following his second consecutive multi-hit game, he's batting .276/.381/.538 with 14 homers, 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 54 contests this season.
-
Michael Busch CHC 1B
Cubs' Michael Busch: Sitting again Saturday
8h agoBusch isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.
Busch is 4-for-13 with a homer, three RBI and two runs scored in his last six games, but he is likely to see a dip in playing time, as Pete Crow-Armstrong's arrival will force Cody Bellinger to start at first base more often.
-
Nolan Schanuel LAA 1B
Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Out again Saturday
10h agoSchanuel (thumb) is absent from the Angels' lineup Saturday versus the Mariners, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Schanuel was a late scratch from the lineup ahead of Friday's 5-4 loss and he'll once again take a seat Saturday. Willie Calhoun will slot in a first base for a second straight game while batting fourth.
-
Thairo Estrada SF 2B
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Dealing with jammed thumb
6h agoEstrada is considered day-to-day after jamming his thumb during Friday's game against the Yankees, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Saturday's absence from the lineup is more than just a day off for the second baseman, who picked up a minor thumb injury in the series opener against New York. Estrada was deemed day-to-day and won't have the benefit of a team-wide rest day until Thursday. If Estrada is forced to miss more time, Brett Wisely would likely fill the gap at second.
-
Vaughn Grissom BOS 2B
Red Sox's Vaughn Grissom: Likely to hit IL
6h agoGrissom has a mild right hamstring strain and is expected to be placed on the injured list, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reported Saturday.
Grissom was removed from Saturday's game against the Tigers in the third inning after slowing up and grabbing his right hamstring running to first on a groundout. While it's not the same hamstring that sidelined him at the start of the year, Saturday's injury will likely require an IL stint. While Grissom is sidelined, expect Romy Gonzalez, David Hamilton and Ceddanne Rafaela to see plenty of work in the middle infield.
-
Thairo Estrada SF 2B
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Idle Saturday
7h agoEstrada is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Estrada will get his first day off since May 12 on Saturday, a well-earned break after generating seven hits across his last four starts. Brett Wisely will play second and bat ninth.
-
Vaughn Grissom BOS 2B
Red Sox's Vaughn Grissom: Exits early Saturday
8h agoGrissom was removed from Saturday's contest with the Tigers in the top of the third inning due to a right hamstring strain, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.
Grissom grounded out in the bottom of the second inning and was replaced by Connor Wong at second base. He missed the first month of the season with a left hamstring strain. The Red Sox will close out its series against Detroit on Sunday before getting a day off Monday. Expect more information regarding Grissom's injury after Saturday's game.
-
Kyren Paris LAA 2B
Angels' Kyren Paris: Remains on bench
10h agoParis is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Seattle, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

-
Danny Mendick CHW 3B
-
Mark Vientos NYM 3B
Mets' Mark Vientos: Homers in loss
2h agoVientos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in a 10-5 loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
Vientos hit a solo homer off Slade Cecconi in the fifth inning then singled and scored a run in the ninth. After posting three hits on Friday, Vientos followed it up with another multi-hit effort that included his third home run in his past eight games. With Brett Baty being optioned to Triple-A Syracuse, it appears Vientos will have a chance to stake his claim at third base for the Mets. On the season, Vientos now has 10 home runs and 39 RBI in 190 plate appearances between Triple-A and the majors.
-
Jose Ramirez CLE 3B
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Two hits, stolen base in win
3h agoRamirez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 3-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.
Ramirez singled and came around to score in the first then stole second and scored from there on a wild pitch in the third. Ramirez hit .295 with 11 home runs, 33 RBI and four stolen bases during a torrid May and picked up right where he left off to open June.
-
Josh Rojas SEA 3B
Mariners' Josh Rojas: Sitting versus southpaw
9h agoRojas is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Angels.
Rojas will take a seat as the Mariners face left-hander Reid Detmers. Dylan Moore will draw the start at third base while Luke Raley enters the lineup in left field, batting eighth against Los Angeles.
-
Jordan Westburg BAL 3B
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Ready to go Saturday
13h agoWestburg (hand) will draw the start at third base and bat seventh Saturday versus the Rays.
Westburg will make his return to the lineup after missing two games with a hand injury following a hit-by-pitch Tuesday against Boston. The 25-year-old currently owns a five-game hit streak, batting .444 with a homer, two doubles, five RBI and four runs scored over that stretch.
-
Alex Bregman HOU 3B
Astros' Alex Bregman: Three homers in four games
14h agoBregman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Twins.
Bregman accounted for the Astros' only run with his seventh home run of the season. After a slow start to the campaign, he has started to turn things around, going 8-for-24 with three home runs, five RBI and four runs scored across his last six games. Bregman still has just a .652 OPS for the season, though he has managed 26 RBI across 55 games.
-
Ha-seong Kim SD SS
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Two hits, three RBI in win
5h agoKim went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, three RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Royals.
Kim led off the third inning with a triple before coming around to score on a Luis Arraez sacrifice fly. He'd then provide what proved to be the game-deciding hit in the fourth, driving in three runs with a base-clearing double to put the Padres ahead 5-3. Kim's now 4-for-10 with three extra-base hits in his last three games. After a slow start to the year, he's gotten his slash line up to .222/.332/.384 with seven homers, 31 runs scored, 27 RBI and 13 steals across 60 contests.
-
C.J. Abrams WAS SS
Nationals' CJ Abrams: Scratched from lineup
10h agoAbrams was scratched from the Nationals' lineup prior to Saturday's game against the Guardians.
Abrams said that he jammed his shoulder while making a diving play during Friday's loss, per Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com, and it seems to be bothering him enough Saturday to warrant a day off. While Abrams recovers, Ildemaro Vargas will take over at shortstop and bat eighth.
-
Oneil Cruz PIT SS
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Not starting against lefty
12h agoCruz isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
With lefty Yusei Kikuchi starting for Toronto, the left-handed bat of Cruz will step out of the lineup Saturday. Nick Gonzales will slide over to play shortstop while Jared Triolo covers the keystone.
-
Bobby Witt KC SS
Royals' Bobby Witt: Knocks three hits in loss
12h agoWitt went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-8 loss to the Padres.
Witt had multiple hits in five of his last six games in May, adding seven RBI despite just two extra-base hits in that span. The shortstop hit .315 through the end of April and exactly matched that mark in May, showing excellent consistency. He's added a stellar .917 OPS, nine home runs, 42 RBI, 51 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, 16 doubles and six triples over 59 contests this season.
-
Paul DeJong CHW SS
White Sox's Paul DeJong: Two extra-base hits
14h agoDeJong went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double Friday against the Brewers.
DeJong led off the third inning with a solo home run, his eighth long ball of the season and first since May 20. In the 10 games since, he's hit just .182 with a 35.1 percent strikeout rate. Nevertheless, DeJong is locked into a near everyday role at shortstop and has maintained .202 ISO with a 103 wRC+ across 176 plate appearances on the campaign.
-
David Hamilton BOS SS
Red Sox's David Hamilton: Pilfers ninth bag
16h agoHamilton went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.
Getting the start at shortstop and batting eighth, Hamilton produced his second three-hit performance in the last eight games. The 26-year-old infielder has claimed a regular spot in Boston's starting lineup over the second half of May, and through the last 14 games he's slashing .375/.432/.575 with three doubles, a triple, a homer, four RBI, seven runs and five of his nine stolen bases on the season.
-
Yordan Alvarez HOU LF
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Belts two homers in victory
4m agoAlvarez went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a walk and three total RBI in a 5-2 win against Minnesota on Saturday.
Alvarez kicked off the scoring for Houston with a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fifth. The pair of long balls matched his total over his previous 30 games combined. Alvarez has hit safely in 13 of his past 14 games and is batting .377 (20-for-53) during that stretch, though he had only two RBI during that span before Saturday.
-
Amed Rosario TB RF
Rays' Amed Rosario: Inconsistent playing time
21m agoRosario went 1-for-1 as a pinch hitter in Saturday's game against the Orioles.
Rosario entered the game in the ninth inning after hitting the bench for the second time in the last four games. Since Jonathan Aranda and Brandon Lowe have returned from the injured list, Rosario has been in the lineup only seven times across 15 contests.
-
Dairon Blanco KC LF
Royals' Dairon Blanco: Picks up steal in loss
1h agoBlanco went 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Padres.
Blanco briefly looked to be claiming a larger role in mid-May, but he's since returned to his usual status as a fourth outfielder. His steal Saturday was his first since May 13, giving him 12 thefts on the year. He's added a decent .255/.323/.364 slash line with one home run, four RBI, 15 runs scored and three doubles over 63 plate appearances. Blanco's last two starts have come against right-handed pitchers, but it appears that's more to give Kyle Isbel regular rest than it is a sign of Blanco earning a larger role.
-
Jake McCarthy ARI RF
Diamondbacks' Jake McCarthy: Two steals in win
2h agoMcCarthy went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in a 10-5 win over the Mets on Saturday.
McCarthy singled, stole two bases then scored on a Christian Walker grand slam in the third inning and later singled and scored in the eighth. McCarthy was a late addition to the lineup when Lourdes Gurriel (undisclosed) was scratched and made the most of a rare opportunity to face a left-handed starter despite now hitting 11-for-25 against lefties on the season. Since May 21, McCarthy has started only six of a possible 10 games but tallied four steals during that stretch.
-
Oscar Colas CHW RF
White Sox's Oscar Colas: Joining big-league roster
5h agoColas was called up to the White Sox on Saturday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Colas' call-up comes after Andrew Benintendi (Achilles) and Andrew Vaughn (finger) sustained in-game injuries Saturday, making it likely that at least one of the two will require a stint on the IL. Colas owned a .571 OPS in 263 plate appearances with Chicago last season and is slashing .244/.358/.406 with five home runs at Triple-A Charlotte this year.
-
Miguel Andujar OAK LF
Athletics' Miguel Andujar: Four hits, four RBI vs. Atlanta
5h agoAndujar went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Saturday's 11-9 victory over Atlanta.
Andujar extended Oakland's lead to 6-2 in the second inning, blasting a three-run homer off Chris Sale. It's the second homer in seven games for Andujar this year, who's gone 9-for-17 with three extra-base hits in his last four contests. Overall, he's slashing an outstanding .448/.433/.724 through his first 30 plate appearances with 12 RBI, six runs scored and two steals while settling into an everyday role in Oakland.
-
Joe Ryan MIN SP
-
Framber Valdez HOU SP
Astros' Framber Valdez: Efficient in quality start
32m agoValdez (4-3) earned the win over Minnesota on Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four batters over seven innings.
Valdez needed a modest 85 pitches to get through seven frames before turning the game over to the bullpen. He notched his second straight quality start and fourth over his past five contests. Overall, Valdez has given up three or fewer earned runs in seven of his nine starts on the campaign.
-
German Marquez COL SP
Rockies' German Marquez: Throws 30 pitches
37m agoMarquez (elbow) threw a bullpen session of between 30 and 35 pitches Saturday, MLB.com reports.
Marquez threw primarily fastballs but also mixed in some breaking balls. He'll now head to Arizona and is expected to appear in several Arizona Complex League contests before embarking on a more formal rehab assignment. Marquez remains on course to return just before the All-Star break.
-
Kyle Freeland COL SP
Rockies' Kyle Freeland: Aiming for late June return
45m agoFreeland (elbow) threw a bullpen session Saturday and is scheduled to throw a live batting practice session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
Freeland simulated the pace of a game, adhering to the pitch clock and between-inning breaks. Manager Bud Black also spoke to the media and suggested that Freeland is a minimum of three weeks away from being activated from the injured list.
-
Jeffrey Springs TB SP
Rays' Jeffrey Springs: Throws bullpen session
1h agoSprings (elbow/lat) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.
Springs resumed throwing Thursday, but Saturday's activity marked his return to the mound. He threw primarily fastballs and changeups and will retake the mound Tuesday. If that goes well, the next step could be a rehab assignment. Unsurprisingly, the Rays are planning to be cautious with Springs, as he'll begin his rehab work by throwing only one inning while gradually building from there.
-
Slade Cecconi ARI SP
Diamondbacks' Slade Cecconi: Solid in no-decision
2h agoCecconi did not factor into the decision in Saturday's win over the Mets, allowing one run on five hits and no walks with four strikeouts over 4.2 innings.
Cecconi was recalled from Triple-A Reno after Zac Gallen (hamstring) was placed on the injured list and looked sharp despite posting a 8.41 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in four May appearances. His only blemish was a solo home run by Mark Vientos to lead off the fifth inning, but he was pulled at 71 pitches and unable to qualify for the win. On the season, Ceconni now owns a 5.59 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 26:8 K:BB through 37 innings and should remain in the rotation as long as Zac Gallen is on the shelf.
-
Michael Kopech CHW RP
-
Josh Hader HOU RP
Astros' Josh Hader: Earns eighth save
22m agoHader picked up a save against the Twins on Saturday, striking out one batter over a scoreless inning.
It was a relatively easy save chance for Hader, as he entered with a three-run lead. The southpaw had worked in a non-save situation in each of his previous three appearances, though he's clearly still in control of Houston's closer role. Hader has had a few rough outings this season but is 8-for-9 in save chances and has allowed just three earned runs and struck out 33 batters over his past 19.1 innings.
-
Colin Poche TB RP
Rays' Colin Poche: Set for rehab assignment
1h agoPoche (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Sunday, MLB.com reports.
Poche's last documented activity was May 22, when he threw a 15-pitch bullpen session. He'll likely only need a couple of appearances in Durham before being activated.
-
Will Smith KC RP
Royals' Will Smith: Handling low-leverage role well
1h agoSmith has allowed two runs over nine innings since the start of May.
Smith doesn't have the best control, having allowed six hits and three walks with just five strikeouts in that span. He's also picked up two of his four holds in that stretch, though manager Matt Quatraro has mostly kept Smith out of high-leverage situations since early April. The left-hander's season-long numbers remain poor (6.38 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, 12:8 K:BB), but he's been less volatile recently. With James McArthur, John Schreiber and Chris Stratton all pitching at a mediocre level in May, there could eventually be a path to high-leverage chances for Smith if he can keep performing well.
-
Emmanuel Clase CLE RP
Guardians' Emmanuel Clase: Converts 18th save
3h agoClase earned a save against the Nationals on Saturday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.
Tasked with preserving a 3-2 lead in the ninth inning, Clase needed only eight pitches to secure his 18th save of the season. The save tied him with Ryan Helsley of the Cardinals for the league lead, and he now boasts a ridiculous 0.31 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 29:2 K:BB over 29.1 innings.
-
Lou Trivino NYY RP
Yankees' Lou Trivino: Still not throwing
4h agoTrivino hasn't resumed throwing since being shut down in early May, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports Saturday.
It was reported May 12 that Trivino was in the midst of a 3-to-4-week shutdown period, and although it's been three weeks since the announcement, the 30-year-old has yet to start throwing again. At this time, there's no timeline for Trivino's throwing program to begin, but it's safe to assume he'll be out until at least the All-Star Break.
-
Wyatt Langford TEX DH
Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Two hits, two RBI in win
3h agoLangford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.
Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has obviously been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list on May 28.
-
Jorge Soler SF DH
Giants' Jorge Soler: Taking seat
7h agoSoler is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Soler is hitless in his last 14 at-bats with four strikeouts and will get a day off Saturday to regroup. Trenton Brooks will be the Giants' designated hitter and bat seventh.
-
Mark Canha DET DH
Tigers' Mark Canha: Expects to play Sunday
10h agoCanha (hip) expects to play a full game Sunday versus the Red Sox, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Canha is dealing with a psoas strain in his left hip and his ability to return to the lineup Sunday will be a big test for his status moving forward. If he suffers a setback, the 35-year-old will likely head to the injured list.
-
David Peralta SD DH
