Orioles' Corbin Burnes: Cruises to eighth win
Burnes (8-2) earned the victory Sunday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings against the Phillies. He struck out seven.
Burnes matched a season high by allowing nine baserunners, but it didn't matter as he limited the damage, allowing only two runs over six innings as the Orioles provided him with eight runs of support. Burnes has still yet to allow more than three earned runs in any start this season, and he's allowed two or fewer runs 12 times in 15 games. He also notched his 10th consecutive quality start Sunday. Burnes will carry a 2.14 ERA and 1.04 WHIP into his next start, currently scheduled to take place when the Orioles travel to Houston to take on the Astros next weekend.

Orioles' Corbin Burnes: Notches seventh win
Burnes (7-2) earned the win Monday against the Rays, allowing two unearned runs on five hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out six.
Burnes dazzled in the series finale, shutting down Tampa Bay to collect his ninth consecutive quality start and 11th overall. The only blemish on the 29-year-old's evening was a two-run homer yielded to Alex Jackson that drove in a pair of unearned runs. Overall, Burnes now sports a 2.08 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 82:22 K:BB in 86.2 innings while being tied for the league lead in quality starts. The Baltimore ace is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Phillies at home this weekend.

Orioles' Corbin Burnes: Snares another win
Burnes (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Toronto, allowing one run on four hits and one walk across seven innings. He struck out five.
The lone run against Burnes came on a George Springer solo homer in the seventh frame. Burnes hasn't allowed more than three runs in a start this season and has logged eight straight quality starts. On the year, Burnes owns a 2.25 ERA with 76 strikeouts across 79.2 innings and is tied for the league lead in quality starts. Burnes is scheduled for a road start against the Rays on Sunday.
