Fairchild isn't in the Reds' lineup Thursday against the Dodgers.
Fairchild has gone 3-for-16 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored since the beginning of May. He will sit on the bench for the third game in a row Thursday while Conner Capel, Will Benson and Jake Fraley man the outfield.
