ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Jordan Washington scored 22 points and third-seeded Iona rallied in the second half to beat No. 2 seed Saint Peter's 73-65 in Sunday night's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal.

The Gaels (21-12) advance to Monday's championship against No. 4 seed Siena (17-16), which beat top-seeded Monmouth (27-6) 89-85 on Sunday.

Trailing by four at halftime, Iona rallied to a 42-34 second-half lead on a 17-0 run in which Sam Cassell Jr. and Jon Severe hit 3s while the Gaels shot 62 percent from the field. Saint Peter's closed to 67-64 on Trevis Wyche's 3-pointer with 51 seconds to go, but got no closer.

Severe scored 12 points, Deyshonee Much made three 3-pointers and scored 11 points and Cassell had 10 for Iona, which made 19 of 21 free throws and scored 22 points off of 15 Peacocks turnovers.

Quadir Welton and Wyche scored 18 points apiece for Saint Peter's (19-13).
