JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) Justice Hansen threw three of his six touchdown passes in a breakaway third quarter and Arkansas State blew the game open in the second half to defeat Southeast Missouri State 48-21 Saturday night in the season opener for both teams.

Hansen compiled 423 yards passing, completing 26 of 36 attempts, and threw scoring strikes to six different receivers. The Red Wolves amassed 685 yards total offense, holding Southeast Missouri to 285 and only two third-down conversions.

Freshman Marcel Murray led Arkansas State receivers with 75 yards - most coming on a 67-yard TD, Javonis Isaac added 70. Each pulled in a TD pass from Hansen, as did Justin McInnis, Kendri Edwards, Bubba Ogbedor and Jona Adams.

Daniel Santacaterina passed for 89 yards and a touchdown pass to Kobe Bryer. Marquis Terry picked up 77 rushing yards, including a 67-yard run that knotted the score at 14-all midway through the second quarter.

Hansen and Arkansas State took off from there with five unanswered scores, including 27 points in the third quarter.
