Glen Rice, Jr. will transfer out of Georgia Tech
It looks like the Glen Rice, Jr. saga at Georgia Tech is coming to an end. After suspending Rice two separate times this season, head coach Brian Gregory announced Tuesday that Rice had been dismissed from the team.
"There are certain standards that have to be met both on and off the court, and there has to be accountability when those standards aren't met," Gregory said in a statement.
Rice led the Yellow Jackets in scoring this season, averaging 13.0 points and 6.7 rebounds. Gregory said Rice wouldn't transfer immediately, instead finishing the spring semester at Tech.
