Steve Melewski@masnSteve2D agoWalks are good always, but 3 of the current 5 highest scoring teams in the majors, including the Orioles, rank 16th, 20th and 29th in BB rate. O's seem more aggressive this year at bat & the OPS/HRs/runs are coming. https://t.co/75JbO7Uo5z

Steve Melewski@masnSteve2D agoFinal - Orioles 4, Arizona 2. They improved to 25-12 and have won six of seven, 13 of 18 and 17 of their last 23. Irvin won it and Cano picked up his 10th save. Strange stat - Orioles are now 9-0 in two-run decisions.

Steve Melewski@masnSteve2D agoJorge Mateo still doing some winning things for the Orioles. One-out IF hit to deep short in the 7th and flies around the bases scoring on Gunnar's 2B to RCF. O's lead it 4-2.

Steve Melewski@masnSteve5D agoAnother reason for good O's pitching. Among MLB leaders in groundball rate: 51.0 – San Francisco 49.8 – Atlanta 47.7 – Philadelphia 47.5 – Colorado 46.0 – Orioles Last season they ranked ninth in the majors in grounder rate at 43.7. With that IF defense, it's big.
