The Braves purchased the contracts of right-handed relievers Michael Kohn and John Cornely prior to Friday's contest in Philadelphia against the Phillies, MLB.com reports. Atlanta cleared roster space by demoting Brandon Cunniff and Sugar Ray Marimon down to Triple-A, per the team's official website.. Kohn, 28, began the minor-league season with a 4.32 ERA over 8 1/3 innings of relief. Cornely, 25, held a sterling 1.04 ERA over 8 2/3 innings at Triple-A Gwinnett.
