Rockies OF Brandon Barnes likely out for rest of 2015 season

Rockies outfielder Brandon Barnes (hamstring) is likely out for the season, according to manager Walt Weiss, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. Barnes had to exit Wednesday's contest after suffering a mild left hamstring strain, and it now appears it will cost him the remainder of the season. It doesn't sound as though it's too major of an issue though, so he should be able to have his usual offseason routine. With Charlie Blackmon nursing a neck injury, Corey Dickerson may be called upon more down the stretch.

Rockies outfielder Brandon Barnes not in Thursday's lineup

Rockies outfielder Brandon Barnes (hamstring) is out of the lineup Thursday, The Denver Post's Patrick Saunders reports. He suffered the injury in Wednesday's game, so it is not surprising that he was not ready to get back out there in Thursday's day game. Charlie Blackmon (neck) is also dealing with an injury, so Corey Dickerson may need to slide to center field Thursday.
