Blue Jays showing interest in free-agent Rafael Soriano

The Blue Jays seem to have some interest in free-agent reliever Rafael Soriano . The veteran reliever is expected to hold an open workout on June 11 for teams that could be interested in his services. And the Blue Jays appear to be one of the teams that will be in attendance. "Yeah, I think it's fair to say [there's interest]," general manager Alex Anthopoulos said Friday, per MLB.com. "I normally don't comment about specific players, but that's someone that we'll look into. I think it's stating the obvious there." The Blue Jays enter play on Friday with the fourth-highest bullpen ERA in the American League, so it's no wonder they could be looking to add a reliever this summer. "If there's a bullpen piece out there, we'll look to do something," Anthopoulos said. "I know there's been reports about us inquiring about guys, and that's fair to say. I wouldn't deny those."
