Andreoff has failed to find the scoresheet in seven games since returning from a thumb injury. Of greater concern for Andreoff is his lack of playing time as he's only managed to skate in seven of the Kings' last 17 games since returning. There's nothing to get excited about here given his lack of playing time and production.
Andreoff is healthy following thumb surgery, but the Kings currently do not have room for him in the lineup, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Well, at least we know exactly what had kept Andreoff from playing in the past 12 games; he'd previously had the nebulous upper-body designation. At any rate, if the Kings are unable to find a spot for him in their lineup, it shouldn't be any different for you in your virtual club.
Andreoff (upper body) is not expected to be active Wednesday night against the Islanders, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Andreoff reportedly stayed on the ice late during morning skate, a sign that he's not quite ready to roll. However, he should benefit from extra rest. After Wednesday, the Kings do not play again until Saturday's home clash with the Blackhawks.
Andreoff (upper body) could return to the Kings as early as next week, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Andreoff has apparently been skating at the Kings practice facility during the team's five-game road trip and the center stated, "I'm getting better every day" and "I think a couple more conditioning practices, and I should be ready to go." If the 25-year-old does not encounter any setbacks in the coming days, he could make his return to the Kings lineup next Wednesday against the Islanders.
Andreoff (upper body) is one of three Kings players who will be out of action until some point in December, the Los Angeles Daily News reports. Brayden McNabb (collarbone) and Marian Gaborik (foot) are the others. "They're a minimum of four weeks away," Kings coach Darryl Sutter said. "Four to six or four to seven for those three." While it's unfortunate to see any player sustain an injury, the silver lining is that Andreoff's absence isn't likely to cause a stir in the fantasy realm as he's gone pointless with a minus-1 rating in nine games.
