• Toronto's Bozak: Six Points In Last Three Games

News: Tyler Bozak picked up two assists in Wednesday's loss to the Sabres.
Analysis: He has six points (three goals, three assists) and a plus-4 rating in his last three games after picking up just a single point in his previous 11 games.
  • Leafs' Bozak: First NHL Hat Trick

News: Tyler Bozak recorded his first career hat trick in Saturday's overtime win over Ottawa. He also picked up an assist.
Analysis: Too little, too late for most of his owners who probably had the guy benched given his recent offensive woes. He now has 45 points on the season and that feels respectable, but not with a minus-35 rating. Great night, but ugly overall.
  • Leafs' Bozak Racks Up 24 PIM Monday

News: Tyler Bozak more than doubled his total PIM on Monday, racking up a total of 24 simultaneously in a 4-1 loss to the Oilers.
Analysis: The refs really must have wanted Tyler Bozak gone in this one, as they handed out an unsportsmanlike minor, a tripping minor, a 10-minute misconduct and a game misconduct with less than four minutes remaining in regulation. Ironically, this is one of the most productive games Bozak has had in awhile, as his even plus/minus rating broke a nine-game streak of being minus-1 or worse -- a span that has featured just two points.
  • Leafs' Bozak Gets Goal, But Mired In Huge Slump

News: Tyler Bozak scored the game-tying goal on a third-period power play and then notched the winner in the shootout in a 4-3 victory over the Sabres.
Analysis: Nice work, but it's hollow as far as fantasy goes. Sure, it came on the power play, but he has just two points in his last seven games, a span that he has gone minus-nine. And in 30 games since the calendar turned 2015, Tyler Bozak has just six goals, five assists and a minus-23 rating. Ouch. Sit him ... at the end of your bench. Or go waiver surfing -- there must be someone else there who wouldn't be such an anchor to your squad.
  • Leafs' Bozak: Power-Play Goal

News: Tyler Bozak scored a power-play goal in a 3-2 win over Florida on Tuesday night.
Analysis: He has 40 points on the season, but that's a far cry from his early-season pace. And his minus-21 rating is an anchor on most fantasy squads. He will likely end up somewhere else over the summer and that means his fantasy value will actually stabilize -- he'll be used in an appropriate role and not deployed on the first line. But right now, you should probably park him on your bench. He's just too much of a risk.
  • Leafs' Bozak Warming Up?

News: Tyler Bozak scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Philadelphia. It was his first multi-point game since Jan. 9.
Analysis: He's been struggling mightily since early December, but is showing signs of coming out of that funk. He has six points, including three goals, in his last nine games. Tyler Bozak's not fantasy relevant again (other than in the biggest and deepest of leagues), at least not yet. But that day may be coming again soon.
  • Leafs' Bozak: Nine Points In Last 23 Games

News: Tyler Bozak's power-play goal Tuesday night against Florida was his 16th goal of the season, but just his third goal in his last 23 games.
Analysis: He has just nine points in those 23 games and his last even-strength goal was Jan. 9. Moreover, the Leafs have won just three times in those 23 games. He's probably better suited for a gig lower in the lineup, but he's all the Leafs have for now. His hold on the top line is intact, but not for long -- the Leafs are making big moves and he could be shuffled out of town.
  • Leafs' Bozak: Six Points And Minus-13 In Last 19

News: Tyler Bozak picked up an assist in Thursday's loss to the Islanders. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last four games.
Analysis: These points mask a horrific streak where he has just six points (two goals, four assists) and a minus-13 rating in 19 games. He's a must-staple to your bench until there's a bit more consistency to his game. Or he gets traded. But even then, his fantasy value will remain limited until he starts showing a bit more effort.
  • Leafs' Bozak Gets Assist, But Mired In Slump

News: Tyler Bozak picked up an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Devils. The pont snapped a six-game point drought.
Analysis: He's been all but invisible since Dec. 31 and has just three points (one goal, two assists) in his last 12 games. You have to sit him right now until he can snap out of this funk.
  • Leafs' Bozak Goes Minus-4 In Loss

News: Tyler Bozak managed just one shot attempt and took a minus-4 rating in Monday's loss to the Hurricanes.
Analysis: What was shaping up to be a career-best campaign for Tyler Bozak has taken a turn for the worse in January. Aside from a two-point outing Jan. 9 against Columbus, Bozak has been a void offensively in the Leafs' other eight games during the month. In those contests, he's mustered only nine shot attempts while compiling a minus-13 rating. Bozak's ongoing struggles will result in coach Pete Horachek dropping him from the top line for at least Wednesday's game against the Ottawa, according to TSN's Jonas Siegel.
