Analysis: The 26-year-old Oliver Lauridsen had appeared in 16 games with the Flyers across the last three seasons, including one in 2014-15, but it became clear that the unrestricted free agent wasn't valued highly with an influx of well-regarded defensive prospects coming up the pipeline. With the Flyers now off the schedule until after the All-Star break, Lauridsen will head back to the AHL for more ice time.
