  • Assigned to San Diego (AHL)

News: Stefan Noesen was reassigned to San Diego of the AHL on Monday.
Analysis: Stefan Noesen wasn't able to survive the cuts that took over 20 Ducks' training camp hopefuls on Monday, but will be able to get a full training camp in with the newly relocated San Diego Gulls of the AHL. Noesen played a professional career high 27 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL last season, racking up 16 points in the process.
  • Ducks Recall Noesen

News: Stefan Noesen was recalled from AHL Norfolk on Monday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: With Norfolk's AHL season having concluded, Stefan Noesen will now bolster the big club's postseason depth up front. The 22-year-old notched 16 points in 27 AHL contests this past season.
  • Ducks Reassign Noesen To AHL Norfolk

News: Stefan Noesen was reassigned to AHL Norfolk on Wednesday.
Analysis: Stefan Noesen was called up to make his NHL debut last week, but he will head back to Norfolk to open up a roster spot for Tim Jackman. He recorded 6:54 TOI in his first game with the Ducks last Friday.
  • Ducks' Noesen Recalled From AHL Norfolk

News: Stefan Noesen was recalled from AHL Norfolk on Friday.
Analysis: While the Ducks seem to have enough healthy forwards already on the roster, there may be an undisclosed injury at play, or else the team could just look to rest one or two of its regulars Friday against the Avalanche. Stefan Noesen, a 22-year-old former first-round draft pick, has 13 points in 23 games for AHL Norfolk this season. He's played just 25 AHL games over the last two seasons, thanks to a torn ACL suffered in October 2013, followed by an Achilles injury that cost him most of this campaign. Noesen is worth keeping an eye on for the future, but he's unlikely to make much of an impact this season, and will likely need more time in the AHL next year.
  • Ducks' Noesen Resumes Skating

News: Stefan Noesen (Achilles) posted on his personal Twitter account that he was able to resume skating Thursday.
Analysis: Stefan Noesen isn't projected to return until mid-to-late February due to the Achilles injury, so he still has significant hurdles to clear in the recovery process. He'll likely work out on his own for the next several weeks before the Ducks allow him to practice with AHL Norfolk.
  • Ducks' Noesen (Achilles) Set To Miss Four Months

News: The Ducks announced Stefan Noesen is dealing with an Achilles injury and is expected to be sidelined for four months, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: It's yet another devastating injury for the hard-luck Stefan Noesen, who missed nearly all of last season with torn knee ligaments. He had worked his way back from the knee issue to produce three points in his first four games with AHL Norfolk, before suffering his latest long-term setback. The prospect luster is beginning to fade for the 21-year-old former first-round draft choice.
  • Ducks Assign Noesen To Minors

News: Stefan Noesen was assigned to AHL Norfolk on Monday, Elliott Teaford of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Analysis: Stefan Noesen, a former first-round selection back in 2011, wrapped up his junior career at OHL Plymouth last season, accumulating 53 points in 51 games. A full campaign at Norfolk likely awaits for the 21-year-old, who could put himself on the big club's radar if he's able to adapt quickly to AHL play.
