  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Strikes out seven in no-decision

Bibee allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over five innings in a no-decision Thursday against the Royals. He struck out seven.

Bibee allowed just one unearned run through his first five innings Thursday, though he'd be charged with two runs in the sixth after allowing the first two batters to reach. Still, it was another decent effort from the 25-year-old right-hander -- Bibee now has seven strikeouts in back-to-back outings while pitching to a 2.12 ERA over his last five starts. Overall, he's 4-1 on the year with a 3.73 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 76:19 K:BB through 70 innings. Bibee's currently in line for a road matchup with the Reds in his next outing.

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Picks up third win

Bibee (3-1) earned the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out six.

All of the damage against Bibee came in the bottom of the third, when he allowed two of the first four batters to reach before surrendering a three-run blast to Taylor Ward. However, the right-hander was able to work his way out of trouble for the rest of the night while inducing 20 swings and misses. Bibee has now logged back-to-back quality starts and has given up three runs or fewer in six of his last eight outings. Saturday also marked his first win since April 21 against the Athletics (span of six starts).

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Scoreless in no-decision

Bibee allowed three hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four during the win over Texas.

Bibee failed to complete six innings for the third consecutive start, but this time it was simply due to a high pitch count. He was tagged with 10 runs in his previous two starts but bounced back with his second scoreless start of the year. Bibee retired the first 11 batters Monday before tailing off a bit near the end of his start, leaving the game after loading the bases in the sixth inning. He lowered his ERA to 4.34 with a 48:15 K:BB through 45.2 innings. Bibee's next start is expected to be at home this weekend against the Twins.

  • Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Pulled after four innings

Bibee did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing four runs on five hits in four innings. He struck out five.

Bibee looked sharp early Wednesday, allowing just one hit through his first three innings. However, things went south in the fourth, when Bibee allowed four runs on four hits. While Cleveland would ultimately rally for a win in 10 innings, it was another disappointing start from Bibee -- he's now allowed 10 runs over nine innings in his last two outings. Overall, the 25-year-old right-hander is 2-1 with a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB in eight starts (40.1 innings) this season.
