| Castro looking for work: After finishing the 2011 campaign on the disabled list with a broken right hand, veteran catcher Ramon Castro remains on the free-agent market heading into the regular season. Castro hit .235 with four homers and 10 RBI in 23 games for Chicago before suffering the injury. (Updated 03/31/2012) |

| Castro is healed from the injury but at age 36, he doesn't have much value for major-league clubs. He lost his position as the backup catcher on the White Sox to Tyler Flowers and several teams, including the Mets, bypassed him in the offseason. Fantasy owners should do the same.
