Kyle Busch team and crew chief Dave Rogers penalized

Kyle Busch's crew chief Dave Rogers was fined $25,000 and placed on probation for rule infractions found during practice last weekend in Michigan.

The Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 Toyota was found to have improperly attached weight during practice Aug. 18, one day before Busch finished 13th in the Pure Michigan 400.

As a result of the violation, crew Rogers has been fined $25,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until Oct. 3. Car chief Wesley Sherrill has also been placed on probation for the same period of time.
