Forming a NASCAR DFS strategy for the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race isn't nearly as straightforward as your typical NASCAR Cup Series race. The entire NASCAR All-Star Race driver pool won't be finalized until minutes before the main event at 8 p.m. ET. Seventeen of the 20 drivers in the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race at 8 p.m. on Sunday have their spots secured but the final three will be determined at The Open, which is a 100-lap race at 5:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Ty Gibbs, Bubba Wallace and Alex Bowman are three of the 20 drivers competing in The Open and although they aren't guaranteed a spot in the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race, they are still options for NASCAR DFS picks on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings. Daily Fantasy players will need to be careful about making sure all the drivers they pick for NASCAR DFS lineups are qualified for the race or they'll need to check back after The Open to finalize their NASCAR DFS strategy. Before locking in your 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race DFS lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel, or any Fantasy NASCAR lineups, be sure to check out the optimal NASCAR at North Wilkesboro DFS strategy and advice from SportsLine's Mike McClure

McClure has won over $2 million in his career as a daily Fantasy pro, and his NASCAR DFS driver pool, projections and advice can help you score a big win on Sunday.

McClure's model was red-hot in the 2023 season, nailing Martin Truex Jr.'s Clash win (20-1) as well as his win in New Hampshire (11-2), Joey Logano's Duel win (8-1), Kyle Busch's Fontana victory (10-1), Denny Hamlin's triumph in Kansas (6-1) and Kyle Larson's wins at Martinsville (6-1) and the NASCAR All-Star Race (13-2). The model correctly predicted winners in two playoff races as well, with Ryan Blaney scoring a 12-1 payout at Talladega and Larson winning at 9-2 in Las Vegas. It also impressively nailed five of Larson's wins during his historic season in 2021. All told, the model has nailed a whopping 18 winners since 2021 and nine last year alone. Anyone who followed its lead on those NASCAR picks saw huge returns.

It also called its first victory of the 2024 season with Larson winning again in Las Vegas for a 21-5 payout then predicted a Denny Hamlin's wins in Bristol at 5-1 and Richmond at 17-4. It impressively nailed five of Larson's wins during his historic season in 2021 too. All told, the model has nailed a whopping 18 winners since 2021 and hit nine last year alone! Anyone who followed its lead on those NASCAR picks saw huge returns.

Now, McClure has dialed in on the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race and just locked in his sleepers, DFS projections and Fantasy NASCAR predictions. They are a must-see for any player looking for an edge. Top 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race DFS picks, lineup advice

One of McClure's top DFS picks for the NASCAR All-Star Race is Chase Elliott ($10,000 on FanDuel and $9,300 on DraftKings). Elliott finished 12th at Darlington last week, but even with that less-than-stellar result, he has five top-five finishes over his last seven races. Elliott won at Texas in April for his 19th NASCAR Cup Series victory. The 28-year-old is fourth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings and he finished in the top four in each of the previous four seasons outside of last year when he missed a chunk of the year due to a fractured tibia in his left leg in a snowboarding accident in March.

Elliott has the best average finish (9.85) over his 10-year career with six top-10 finishes over his first 13 races of the season. He has the second-best average finish of any driver with more than two NASCAR Cup Series races over the last 15 competitions with a 10.7 average finish while competing in all 15 races. Elliott won the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race and his average finish provides a high floor for NASCAR DFS lineups. You can see the rest of McClure's NASCAR All-Star Race DFS picks at SportsLine

Top 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race Fantasy rankings, projections

One sleeper McClure is targeting in his 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race Fantasy lineups is Brad Keselowski. He is a 12-1 longshot to win the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race, but the model projects him inside the top 10 while making a run at the title. Keselowski broke his 110-race winless streak last weekend in Darlington. The 40-year-old still finished eighth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings last year despite no victories as his ability to constantly string together respectable races has him rarely finishing at the back of the pack. Along with his victory last weekend, Keselowski has two second-place finishes over his last five races.

Keselowski has 36 career victories, the third-most of any active NASCAR driver, and that experience can't be overstated. He's knocked off top drivers throughout his career. Keselowski is a three-time runner-up in NASCAR All-Star Races, most recently finishing second in 2021, and that experience in this non-traditional race should play to his advantage as a sleeper for 2024 NASCAR Fantasy lineups. You can see the rest of McClure's NASCAR All-Star Race Fantasy NASCAR picks at SportsLine.
