Hockey video games sure have come a long way from Ice Hockey on the NES. Things have gotten just a touch more realistic over the years.

The next installment of EA Sports' hockey franchise, NHL 15, looks like it will keep up the trend in the first gameplay trailer released for the game on Friday. It's getting harder and harder to tell it's a video game.

One of the big changes this year that you can tell from the trailer: the commentary has changed. No longer is it Gary Thorne and Bill Clement but instead gets the NBC touch with Doc Emrick and Eddie Olcyzk on the call.

As for the cover athlete, it will either be Patrice Bergeron or P.K. Subban, the finalists in the cover vote tournament.
