So there are some traditions around the NHL involving pre-game warm-ups with everything from tennis to soccer.

It’s not a surprise, then, that Reid Duke, former Western Hockey League star and the first-ever acquisition of the upstart Vegas Golden Knights, knows all about those traditions.

It’s why he recently took time out of his day to go through the rules and expectations of the Golden Knights’ own pre-game antics.

Except Duke doesn’t have any teammates.

Until Vegas makes some moves and ensures Duke is the first, but not the sole player, on the Golden Knights’ roster, it seems like he’ll make due playing by himself:
