  • Ducks' Jhonas Enroth: Dealt to Anaheim

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/11/17) The Maple Leafs traded Enroth to the Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for a seventh-round pick in 2018, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Enroth comes with a relatively small cap hit of $750,000 and he may end up as a rental player for the Ducks, as he's set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. In four starts and six games total with the Buds this season, the Swede went 0-3-1 with a hefty 3.94 GAA and a useless-for-fantasy .872 save mark. He'll provide extra depth behind starter John Gibson and Jonathan Bernier in Anaheim.

Maple Leafs' Jhonas Enroth: Demoted to minors

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/10/17) The Maple Leafs assigned Enroth to AHL Toronto on Tuesday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.

The Maple Leafs picked up goaltender Curtis McElhinney off waivers Tuesday, and thus are no longer in need of Enroth's services as a backup. Enroth has struggled in limited NHL action this season, posting an 0-3-1 record with an awful 3.94 GAA and .872 save percentage in six appearances, and will likely spend the rest of the campaign in the minors barring an injury to one of Toronto's other netminders.

Maple Leafs' Jhonas Enroth: Recalled on Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/8/17) Enroth was recalled from AHL Toronto on Sunday, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports.

The 28-year-old was called up as Antoine Bibeau was sent down in a goalie swap by the Leafs. Enroth has been bad in the NHL this year with an .872 save percentage, but has been a bit better in the minors with a .904 save percentage. If he gets on the ice in his stint in the NHL, don't expect high-quality fantasy production.

Maple Leafs' Jhonas Enroth: Sent back to AHL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(12/28/16) Enroth was returned to the minors Wednesday.

The shuffle behind starter Frederik Andersen continues with Enroth the latest goalie reassigned to AHL Toronto. It is clear the Leafs are taking advantage of having their minor league squad in the same city as they continue to rotate the backup. Fow now, Antoine Bibeau will get the spot at the end of the bench and Enroth will get the play time with the Marlies.

Maple Leafs' Jhonas Enroth: Heading back to the NHL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(12/24/16) Enroth was recalled by the Leafs on Saturday, reports TSN.ca.

He is 0-3-1 with a 3.94 goals-against average and a .872 save percentage in six appearances with the Leafs this season. Enroth played with Marlies on Dec. 10 and recorded a 5-3 win. He made 24 saves.

April 7, 2015: Second Straight Win For Stars' Enroth
Enroth made 23 of 24 saves in a 5-1 win over the Sharks on Monday. He got the better of Nashville two nights prior in a 33-save victory as well, so the former Sabre has been doing his part to finish this season on a high note. In seven starts and 11 appearances with Dallas this season, Enroth is 3-5-0 with a 2.83 GAA and .892 save percentage, numbers that won't do much to unseat Kari Lehtonen as the starter in Big D.
April 7, 2015: Benn scores twice in Stars win
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) Jamie Benn is making a late run for the NHL scoring lead. It won't be enough to take the sting off missing the playoffs for the sixth time in seven years.
April 7, 2015: Benn scores twice in Stars win
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) Jamie Benn scored twice, Colton Sceviour scored in the first 30 seconds, and the Dallas Stars beat the San Jose Sharks 5-1 on a Monday night when both teams were eliminated from the playoff picture.
