Corrado (upper body) is still about five or six days away from being healthy enough to play, the Vancouver Province's Jason Botchford reports.The Canucks have not yet decided whether Corrado will start the year in Vancouver or the AHL, but the fact that he likely won't be ready for the Oct. 8 regular-season opener probably does not help his chances.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) Joe Vitale had a goal and an assist, Mike Smith made 23 saves and the Arizona Coyotes defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-2 Monday night.

Corrado suffered an upper body injury during Monday's exhibition game and was forced to leave in the second period, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports.The severity of the injury is still unknown but there was no reason to force Corrado into preseason action if any sort of risk was involved. His status will likely be updated before a decision is made on whether or not he'll make Vancouver's roster to start the season.
