Visnovsky (lower body) is getting closer to returning to game action, according to the Islanders Point Blank.Visnovsky has been skating before practice for a few days now but Monday was his first practice with the team since suffering the injury. He won't return for Tuesday's tilt versus the Wild but could play Thursday against the Kings.

Visnovsky (lower body) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Devils.Visnovsky was able to get in a skate prior to Thursday's practice, suggesting that his injury isn't being viewed as a long-term concern. Though the aging blueliner won't be available for the weekend, coach Jack Capuano is hopeful that Visnovsky will be back at some point next week.
