Opposing shutout dooms Nittymaki: Tampa Bay G Antero Niittymaki had a decent performance on Monday against the Avalanche but could not keep up with opposing goalie Craing Anderson who pitched a shutout. Niittymaki made 26 saves in the game and allowed two goals. His record dropped to 6-3-3 on the season with the loss.
