  • Coyotes' Nick Bjugstad: Deemed day-to-day

Bjugstad (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day and will be evaluated Tuesday to determine his availability for Wednesday's contest against Dallas, according to Patrick Brown of the Coyotes' official site.

Bjugstad was injured in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey. He has generated 17 goals, 37 points and 108 hits in 67 appearances this season. Arizona recalled Nathan Smith from AHL Tucson on Monday to potentially replace Bjugstad in the lineup.

  • Coyotes' Nathan Smith: Brought up from minors

Smith was promoted from AHL Tucson on Monday.

Smith has yet to appear in an NHL game this season, having played exclusively in the minors. With the Roadrunners, the 25-year-old center has tallied nine goals and 18 helpers in 48 contests. The decision to call up Smith could be an indication that one or both of Nick Bjugstad (undisclosed) or Barrett Hayton (lower body) will not be available to face Dallas on Wednesday.

  • Coyotes' Sean Durzi: Collects helper in Saturday's win

Durzi notched an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

The assist was Durzi's first contribution on offense over the last seven games. The 25-year-old defenseman remains on the top power-play unit, but he hasn't been connecting lately. For the year, he has 33 points (14 on the power play), 109 shots on net, 133 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 62 appearances in a top-four role.

  • Coyotes' Lawson Crouse: Chips in with helper

Crouse notched an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

Crouse snapped a six-game slump when he set up Logan Cooley's first-period marker. The 26-year-old Crouse can run a bit streaky on offense, but his physicality is ever-present. He's at 34 points, 147 shots on net, 144 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 67 contests on the year.

  • Coyotes' J.J. Moser: Tickles twine Saturday

Moser scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

Moser has four points over nine outings in March. The 24-year-old blueliner continues to play on the top pairing for the Coyotes, offering solid production across the board without any one standout category in fantasy. He's up to 26 points, 67 shots on net, 85 hits, 96 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 66 appearances this season.

  • Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Scores again Saturday

Cooley scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

Cooley has five goals over his last 10 contests, including one on the power play and one shorthanded. The 19-year-old is up to 13 tallies, 32 points, 123 shots on net, 46 hits and a minus-13 rating through 68 outings overall. Cooley should continue to see middle-six minutes down the stretch, as the Coyotes will likely want to see how their top prospect performs toward the end of what's likely to be a full rookie season.

  • Coyotes' Dylan Guenther: Scores on power play in win

Guenther scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils.

The tally gave Guenther 10 goals on the year, with four of them coming over nine games since the start of March. The 20-year-old winger continues to look solid while working his way into a top-six role. He's at 20 points (nine on the power play), 74 shots on net, 25 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 31 appearances in 2023-24.

  • Coyotes' Nick Schmaltz: Continues hot stretch

Schmaltz picked up a trio of assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.

Since Feb. 25, Schmaltz has 16 points, including 11 assists, in 12 games. And that run has propped up his overall totals to 48 points (19 goals, 29 assists) in 65 games. If he can stay healthy, Schmaltz could flirt with his first 60-point season.

  • Coyotes' Karel Vejmelka: Strong play in March continues

Vejmelka made 37 saves in a 4-1 win over the Devils on Saturday.

Nick DeSimone, playing in his second game with the Devils, was the only man to beat Vejmelka. The Devils defender started a rush and finished it with a shot inside the left post off a pass from Curtis Lazar. Vejmelka had a horrendous first two months of 2024, going 0-8-0 with 37 goals allowed in eight starts before ringing off a 3-2-0 record and just 11 goals against over five starts in March. Arizona hasn't been a reliable team this season, but Vejmelka might be an underrated fantasy play over the next few weeks.

  • Coyotes' Clayton Keller: Earns another two-point effort

Keller scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-1 victory over the Devils on Saturday.

Keller's goal went into an empty net. A first-period assist during a Coyotes power play gave Keller his 400th career point, which puts him in the same stratosphere as Shane Doan as the only Coyotes to hit that mark since the franchise relocated to Arizona in 1996. Keller has three two-point games (four goals, two assists) over his last four outings. He leads the Coyotes with 27 goals and 59 points through 64 contests this campaign.

  • Coyotes' Nick Bjugstad: Being evaluated

Bjugstad (undisclosed) is questionable to return Saturday against New Jersey.

Bjugstad logged 7:24 of ice time before exiting the contest. He entered Saturday's action with four goals and six points in five outings.

  • Coyotes' Karel Vejmelka: Starting Saturday

Vejmelka will patrol the home crease Saturday against New Jersey.

Vejmelka has lost his past two outings despite stopping 50 of 55 shots during that span. In 30 appearances this season, he has supplied a record of 8-17-2 with a 3.45 GAA and an .894 save percentage. The Devils sit ninth in the league with 3.30 goals per contest this campaign.

  • Coyotes' Travis Dermott: Hands out helper

Dermott notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

The helper was Dermott's first point since Feb. 12, though he played just four games out of 15 in that span. The 27-year-old has six points, 32 shots on net, 52 blocked shots, 41 hits and a minus-12 rating through 40 appearances. The Coyotes are carrying only six defensemen currently -- Dermott's place in the lineup is safe as long as that continues, though Josh Brown is likely more at risk of a healthy scratch.

  • Coyotes' Alex Kerfoot: Nabs helper in win

Kerfoot dished an assist, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Kerfoot set up Michael Carcone's go-ahead goal in the second period. The 29-year-old Kerfoot has faltered in March with just two points over his last eight outings. He's still strong enough defensively to maintain a significant role, but he needs to score more to be on the fantasy radar. He's up to 37 points, 86 shots on net, 62 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 67 appearances.

  • Coyotes' Matias Maccelli: Slides helper in win

Maccelli provided an assist in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Maccelli has been limited to three assists over his last seven games following a three-point effort in Ottawa on March 1. The Coyotes' frequent line shuffling saw him drop to the third line Thursday. The 23-year-old is up to 46 points, 119 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 67 appearances. As long as Maccelli continues to see power-play time, he'll be a solid depth winger for fantasy managers.

  • Coyotes' Dylan Guenther: Earns first shorthanded point

Guenther notched a shorthanded assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Guenther fed Logan Cooley for the shortie in the first period, with both forwards picking up the first shorthanded point of their careers. It's a sign of growth for Guenther, though the goal was scored late in a penalty kill. The 20-year-old winger has 19 points (eight on the power play) with 71 shots on net, 25 hits and a minus-1 rating through 30 appearances this season.

  • Coyotes' Nick Schmaltz: Picks up assist in win

Schmaltz notched an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Schmaltz remains hot with 13 points over his last 11 games. He set up a Nick Bjugstad tally in the third period of this contests. For the season, Schmaltz is up to 19 goals, 26 assists, 134 shots on net and a minus-21 rating through 64 outings, his most games played in the last four seasons. His offense has been down, but his top-line and power-play roles maintain his status as a solid depth forward in fantasy.

  • Coyotes' Michael Carcone: Stays warm with goal

Carcone scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Carcone has gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last eight games, logging four goals and three assists in that span. The 27-year-old forward's tally Thursday stood as the game-winner, his third such goal this season. He's at 19 tallies, 27 points, 86 shots on net, 45 hits and a minus-3 rating through 59 appearances. With one more goal, he'll join the 20-goal club for the first time.
