Chelsea has once again climbed to the summit of the Premier League, and the factors as to why are endless. There's the impact of new signings N'Golo Kante, David Luiz and Marcos Alonso, and even Michy Batshuayi showed up, scoring the title-clinching goal on Friday at West Brom. A revived Eden Hazard has played a part, but make no mistake - the intense, demanding and charismatic Italian coach is why Chelsea reigns supreme.

Antonio Conte came in this past summer following a disappointing year for the Blues where it lacked an identity, ambition, heart and a coach. And Conte brought everything. Despite just getting 10 points from its first six matches, he switched to three in the back, was never afraid to take his stars off and give others a chance, and the title has come as a result.

Just look at Friday. Level at 0-0, he takes off Hazard and Pedro with over 10 minutes to go in favor of Willian and Batshuayi.

"Hazard was a bit tired, and also Pedro. I wanted to give more energy with Michy and Willian," Conte told Sky Sports after the match.

"I think Michy [made me look good]."

It was Conte that has made Chelsea look good. For a team that started the year unbalanced, it finishes the year as the most dominant team in England and a threat to more than just domestic titles.  All year long, no team has really even come close to the Blues. Not Tottenham, not the Manchester squads, not Liverpool. Chelsea this year has been been on another level, and it is because they play on the field how their coach acts off of it.

Often clubs emulate their coach. Real Madrid is flashy and arrogant like Zinedine Zidane, Barcelona is quiet, means business and is efficient like Luis Enrique, Manchester United is up and down like Jose Mourinho. The list goes on. And Chelsea perfectly represents their manager. All you have to do is watch Conte. You won't see him sitting on the bench (but you may see him hanging from it), you won't see him telling his assistants to deliver a message. He is more involved, louder than any coach in recent memory. All of it because this is more than just a game or a job for him, it is what brings him joy, what drives his ambition, what gives his life meaning.

"We thought a lot about [Conte], already," Hazard told Sky Sports just after the match. "We all know he is a fantastic manager. We work a lot in training ... Full credit [to him]."

Chelsea's glory has come from perfectly embodying their coach. They have the heart of a lion and the confidence of a gladiator.

And now, faster than most thought, they have the Premier League trophy.
