Neither Chile nor Germany could take control of Group B at the Confederations Cup, but both are sitting in a fantastic position to advance after Thursday. The first goal came from Alexis Sanchez of Chile just six minutes in after poor playing out of the back from the Germans:

But Germany bounced back before the half through a fine bit of play on 41 minutes. It was Lars Stindl's finish in front of goal that drew them level:

Group B will be decided on Sunday in the final matches of the stage, when Germany plays Cameroon and Chile plays Australia.
