It remains to be seen if Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo ultimately leaves the club amid his tax issues, but it certainly feels like a potential move is picking up a little steam. But where could he end up? There are many options, with the leader certainly being his former home of Manchester United. Bovada has released the odds for Ronaldo's next club, and there are some surprises. Take a look at the odds:
Cristiano Ronaldo's Next Club
Manchester United 2/1
Paris Saint-Germain 11/2
Any Chinese Team 16/1
Any MLS Team 20/1
Bayern Munich 20/1
Chelsea 20/1
Man City 25/1
Juventus 28/1
AC Milan 33/1
Barcelona 33/1
Inter Milan 40/1
Monaco 40/1
Sporting Lisbon 50/1
Tottenham 50/1
Arsenal 66/1
Any Brazilian Team 100/1
Everton 100/1
Liverpool 100/1
United makes a ton of sense, as does PSG because the French giants have the money. But how about China and MLS being that high? A move to China or the United States seems about 3-5 years too early for him, even though he is 32.
I'll take a guess that Ronaldo to Everton or any Brazilian team doesn't happen though. Everton doesn't have the cas, and any Brazilian club certainly doesn't have enough cash for him to make that move.
It seems like it will be Real Madrid or Manchester United. But examining the other options is always fun. Ronaldo to Miami MLS franchise anyone?
