Manchester United has begun negotiating the transfer of Paul Pogba, according to Sky Sports. The Juventus star midfielder, who is just 23 and is projected to be the world's best player after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, could be set for a shock return to the England club.

The talented player, currently at Euro 2016 with France, could potentially be transferred for about $130 million, according to the report, which would be a world record, surpasing Gareth Bale's $110 million transfer from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013.

Arguably the most talented player in the world under the age of 25, Pogba started his career at Manchester United but played just three game, leaving for Juventus in 2012 after not signing a new contract.

In Italy, he has won eight trophies and progressed into a complete, prolific and flashy midfielder, with clubs like PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona keeping tabs on him.

If he were to go to Manchester United, he would instantly become one of the faces of the club, which has had a busy summer under new manager Jose Mourinho, who signed superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer from PSG.
