Mexico got past Iceland on Wednesday night in an international friendly in Las Vegas 1-0, with Alan Pulido scoring the winning goal in the 21st minute.

The Chivas striker scored a delightful header to the far post to secure the win for El Tri, who used this match as preparation for the World Cup Qualifying matches it has in March.

Here's the winner.

Without its European-based players like Carlos Vela and Javier Hernandez, Mexico did just enough to win, with Pulido's strike the decider. He did great to get off of his man and reach a position at the front post to flick the ball on, and Iceland's goalkeeper didn't have much of a chance.

Mexico's next match is against Costa Rica on March 24 in World Cup Qualifying.
