Two stars on the U.S. men’s national team combined to set a record on Saturday. For the first time, American internationals scored three goals in one day of Bundesliga action.
Americans have now combined for 13 German league goals this season, and on Saturday, it was Christian Pulisic and Fabian Johnson that did the scoring.
First it was Pulisic, who scored a sweet strike in Borussia Dortmund’s 6-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen -- a game in which he also recorded an assist.
