MLS returns in March for the 2017 season, and you know who is super excited?

The Nature Boy, that's who. Wrestling legend Ric Flair, who may just be a big soccer fan, cannot wait for the season to begin and showed that on Twitter.

With Atlanta United beginning its first season in the league, he tweeted at the club, which is led by former Argentina and Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino.

Of course, Charlotte, North Carolina is Flair's home, but there is no MLS team in the Queen City. And his preference for Atlanta United makes sense. His connection to Atlanta goes way back to his NWA/WCW days, as CBS Sports' own Denny Burkholder pointed out to me, and it has kind of served like a second home to him.

So, hopefully he can get along well with the club, because fans screaming "wooooooooo" would be a nice change from "goooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaal."
