ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Shawn Anderson scored 15 points and his layup with 16 seconds remaining put Navy up for good as the Midshipmen beat Pennsylvania 70-68 on Saturday.

Penn didn't get off a shot as it turned the ball over with a second left. Anderson's layup gave Navy a one-point lead and he sealed it from the line.

Jackson Donahue's 3 with 5:21 to play gave Penn a 68-61 lead but Navy (3-4) scored the next five points and pulled to within a basket on Bryce Dullin's layup with 1:45 remaining.

Navy led 46-36 at halftime, before Penn went on 16-4 run to take the lead at 52-50 on AJ Brodeur's layup. Navy scored just 16 points in the first 16 minutes of the second half.

Hasan Abdullah and Ryan Pearson each scored 11 points for Navy. Caleb Wood led Penn (2-2) with 15 points.

Penn leads the all-time series 59-25.
