TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Jordan Jones scored a jumper in the paint with 1:51 left to give Kennesaw State a 10-point lead and the Owls held on to beat Florida A&M, 76-74 on Wednesday night.

Justin Ravenel drilled a three-pointer with 1:41 left and Desmond Williams added a free throw, then knocked down a jumper in the lane to cut the lead to four, 75-71, with more than a minute left to play. Ravenel cut it to two with 14 seconds left with another jumper, but the best the teams could do in the final seconds was trade a free throw.

It's Kennesaw State's second-straight win over Florida A&M. Last year the Owls won 61-41 at Kennesaw, Ga.

Kendrick Ray scored 26 points to lead Kennesaw State (3-5), with Aubrey Williams and Nick Masterson each adding another 13.

Williams led Florida A&M (2-6) with 18 points. Marcus Barham added another 13.
