BOSTON (AP) Cedric Hankerson made a 3-pointer with 1:12 left to retake the lead and Boston University went on to a 73-69 victory over New Hampshire on Sunday.

Tanner Leissner sank two free throws to give UNH its first lead, 69-68, since early in the game but Hankerson replied with his 3-pointer. UNH was called for a charge and BU's Eric Fanning drove to score with 13 seconds remaining.

The Terriers led 38-31 at halftime after shooting 50 percent then built their largest lead at 44-33 early in the second half.

Fanning scored 15 points, Justin Alston 14, Hankerson 13 and Eric Johnson 10 for BU (5-6).

The Wildcats (7-4) had three players with double-doubles for the second time this season: Leissner with 25 points and 10 rebounds, Jaleen Smith with 15 and 11, and Iba Camara with 12 and 11. Leissner went over 1,000 career points.
