PHOENIX (AP) DeWayne Russell scored 31 points with six 3-pointers and Grand Canyon defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 89-49 on Thursday night, the biggest win over another Division I team in school history.

Russell made 10 of 16 field goals and extended his streak of double-figure scoring to 11 games. Oscar Frayer and Shaq Carr each scored 18 for the Antelopes (8-5) while Martin Gerard added 13. Carr dished nine assists.

Grand Canyon, on a five-game win streak, made 22 assists on 27 baskets, shooting 27-for-48 for 56 percent.

Charles Jackson led Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-13) with 13 points and JoeRandle Tolliver added 10. The Golden Eagles committed 18 turnovers, which Grand Canyon turned into 34 points. Grand Canyon also took advantage of 24 Golden Eagles fouls, shooting 22 of 33 at the free throw line.
