No. 3 seed Baylor will face No. 14 New Mexico State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Here are some things to keep in mind about each team, along with viewing information for the game.

What to know about each team

Baylor: The Bears have nine top-50 RPI wins -- most notably victories over Louisville, Oregon, West Virginia, Iowa State and Oklahoma State. But they are just 5-6 in their past 11 games with a loss to Texas Tech and two to Kansas State. Johnathan Motley is Baylor’s All-American candidate. He’s averaging 17.3 points and 9.9 rebounds.

New Mexico State: The Aggies finished second in the WAC with an 11-3 record in conference, and went 28-5 overall. They beat Cal State Bakersfield to win the WAC tournament championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in the past six years.
