What to watch for each team:

South Carolina: With one of the best defensive ratings in the country, South Carolina promises to be a tough out in its first NCAA Tournament appearance under Frank Martin. The key to beating the Gamecocks is patience and limiting their offensive production, which relies heavily on Sindarious Thornwell and P.J. Dozier.

Marquette: The Golden Eagles’ best win is the home victory against Villanova. They also swept Xavier and Creighton and beat Vanderbilt (many tournament teams beat Vanderbilt). This is the best 3-point shooting team in the sport, hitting treys 43 percent of the time.
