UCLA forward Travis Wear could return for the Bruins' third game of the season on Nov. 18 vs. Sacramento State, UCLA coach Steve Alford told CBSSports.com on Tuesday morning.
The fifth-year senior was diagnosed with appendicitis last week and missed the Bruins' 109-79 exhibition victory Monday vs. Cal State San Marcos.
The 6-10 Wear is UCLA's most experienced front court player and averaged 10.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season.
Alford also said he expects freshman Wanaah Bail to return slightly after Wear, sometime in mid-November. The 6-9 Bail had surgery on his left knee over the summer.
