Duke transfer Semi Ojeleye commits to SMU; eligible next season

Semi Ojeleye, who will transfer from Duke, has committed to play next season at SMU.

Duke transfer Semi Ojeleye has committed to SMU, sources told CBSSports.com on Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-8 forward will be eligible in December of 2015 and will have 2 1/2 years of eligibility remaining.

A former Top 50 recruit out of high school, Ojeleye averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in six games this season for Duke.

Ojeleye will join a Mustangs front court that will feature veterans Markus Kennedy and Ben Moore along with Texas Tech transfer Jordan Tolbert.

SMU is 8-3 this season.
