Mitchell Robinson has committed to Western Kentucky for the 2017 class, he told CBSSports.com on Wednesday.
The 6-11 Robinson is a five-star recruit and rated in the Top-15 of most recruiting services. The commitment is a major coup for first-year head coach Rick Stansbury, who recruited Robinson when he was the associate head coach at Texas A&M.
Robinson de-committed from the Aggies when Stansbury took the Western Kentucky job in late March. The Hilltoppers remain in the hunt for Mississippi State transfer Malik Newman, who finished his final visit on Wednesday at Kansas.
