When Frank Mason III drilled a game-clinching jumper in the final seconds on Tuesday to knock off Duke, it had big implications in the basketball world. The No. 1 team in the country fell on one of basketball's biggest stages. And, perhaps the biggest implication of them all ... Joel Embiid won a bet against his 76ers teammate Jahlil Okafor.

Okafor's Blue Devils came up short on Tuesday, and the Kansas Jayhawks clinched the game and the bet for Embiid. After the game, Embiid poured a bit of salt in the wound on Twitter with some friendly ribbing.

And Okafor respected the friendly bet the two apparently made by rocking Kansas gear in the training room in a tweet Embiid posted on Wednesday:

Embiid's college team prevailed in dramatic fashion, but Okafor's Blue Devils -- with some key injuries to players who almost certainly will make a big impact this year -- pushed the Jayhawks to the brink. Okafor has yet to tweet about it, but I'm sure he's hoping he can get revenge on his NBA teammate down the road.
