Stony Brook has hired Ohio State's Jeff Boals as its next head coach, sources told CBS Sports.
An official announcement is expected soon.
He replaces Steve Pikiell, who took the Rutgers job on March 19.
Stony Brook made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history this past season and lost to Kentucky in the first round.
